Mauricio De León, better known as ‘Mauricio Mangatta‘, is a Colombian DJ and producer based in his hometown ‘La fantastica’ Cartagena de Indias, a place that marked his style and professional career characterized by his mixes with tropical sounds but with melodic vibes and progressive such as a festival in the best style of RUFUS DU SOL could be imagined. This is why ‘Mauricio’ induces his listeners to feel a special connection in each staging. He is currently the resident DJ of ‘LA MOVIDA Cartagena’, where he holds the position of DJ Manager and other functions such as the creative direction of the company. His most recent release ‘Magic Sound’ tries to show a little about what he is most passionate about in music and to mark a path for future musical productions.
In his time as a DJ, Mauricio has had the opportunity to play in other cities such as Medellin, Bogotá, Santa Marta and countries like Mexico and Peru, together with artists such as Black Circle, Hercules & Love Affair, Themba and Lexlay.
